LeagueScorecard

LeagueScorecard ("the site," "we," "our") is a fantasy football dashboard that pulls publicly available league data from the Sleeper API and displays it in one place. This page explains what information is and isn't collected when you use it.

The short version

We don't have a login system, we don't run our own database, and we don't collect or store your personal information on any server we control. Your Sleeper username, season, display preferences, and any MFL league IDs you've added are saved only in your own browser (via localStorage) so the site remembers them next time you visit — that data never leaves your device except when it's used to fetch your league data, as described below. That said, the site does use Google Analytics, which involves third-party data collection described below.

Information from Sleeper

When you enter a Sleeper username, the site fetches publicly available fantasy football data directly from Sleeper's public API — your leagues, rosters, matchups, and related league data. This happens directly between your browser and Sleeper's servers; we don't see, log, or store this data ourselves. Use of Sleeper's data is subject to Sleeper's own terms and privacy practices.

Information from MyFantasyLeague (MFL)

If you add an MFL league (an optional, separate feature reached through the "Advanced" panel on the main form), the League ID you enter is sent through our server to MyFantasyLeague's public API to fetch that league's publicly available standings and scores. This is unlike the Sleeper data above — MFL's API doesn't allow direct requests from a browser, so this one step passes through our server rather than going straight from your browser to MFL. We don't log, store, or retain the League IDs you enter beyond forwarding the request; nothing is saved in a database on our end. As with Sleeper, the league data displayed is public information, not personal data about you. Use of MFL's data is subject to MFL's own terms and privacy practices.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — things like page views, which tabs are opened, and general visit patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, browser type, and device information. Learn more about how Google handles this data at Google's Privacy & Terms.

Analytics only runs if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you click "Decline" instead, Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for leaguescorecard.com, which will show the banner again on your next visit.

Other third-party services

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log requests (including IP address) per Google Fonts' own privacy practices.

What we don't do

• We don't require an account, email address, or password.
• We don't sell or share personal information with anyone, because we don't collect any to begin with.
• We don't store your Sleeper username or any league data on a server — everything lives in your own browser or is fetched live from Sleeper each time you visit.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if new features or services are added — this page will be updated with a new "last updated" date above.
